My First Haul!

I went shopping with my friend Bebe today! I picked up the Sam Edelman shoes I won from Akira and bought an adorable belt and top.

Also, this is day two of the Kaka Twitter Challenge! I’m doing pretty well I think. I have done 4 Tweets in 2 days. He will have to eventually Tweet me.

I also have a job interview tomorrow downtown! Wish me luck! I’ll be sure to snap a picture of my interview outfit!

The Kaka Challenge and Coconut Ice Cream

Believe it or not – two posts in three days!!!

As I am a giant soccer fan (I think most of you already know that), I am also Kaka’s biggest fan. Kaka is a Brasilian soccer player who plays for Real Madrid. I have been slightly obsessed with him for the last seven years or so. Anyway back to the point of my story, I follow him on Twitter and he often tweets to his fans. Well I have made it my mission in life to get him to tweet to me. I am posting this on my blog, because it will be nice to have your support while I try to get my favorite athlete in the world to talk to me.  I’ll keep everyone posted!

So though I didn’t have time to accessorize my outfit, below is a photo of me with my friends H and T on my birthday. I wore a simple gray and white dress from Discovery and threw on some Old Navy flip flops for our casual dinner. I liked it.

Sunday I went to P.F Chang’s with my mom for a dinner. We rarely go out for dinner together, and my mom hates Chinese food but I really wanted some Banana Spring Rolls. We took the order to go, and they forgot my coconut ice cream! I was really upset! The coconut ice cream is essential to the Banana Spring Roll dessert. Needless to say, I called them and the manager said they would “send something over right away” and took my address. So I waited and no one ever came. I asked my friend Amiga since she worked there before and she wasn’t sure what he meant by that. Hopefully he’ll just send over some coupons or something. I really love the coconut ice cream.

I was feeling very nautical on Sunday and decided to wear a white tank top from Old Navy and a blue skirt from Nordstrom. I paired the outfit with these super cute silver sandals from Discovery, red pearl bracelet and a silver necklace with my nickname on it that I bought from Disney World. The outfit gave me a very understated sailor look, without making me look like an American flag. Below is also a picture of what my Banana Spring Rolls should have looked like.

I used to wear a ton of color and dress up my regular tshirts, but I feel like lately I haven’t been dressing up my everyday outfits. I got a new t-shirt from Aeropostale and I really wanted to wear it, but I wanted to keep it trendy and not just throw on a pair of jeans. I decided to throw on a yellow tank top from Discovery under, bright blue Dickies bermuda shorts and yellow Old Navy flip flops. I also wore my new mustard yellow bracelet I bought from Disney World with my name on it. It sounds like a lot of weird colors, but it actually looked really cool.

Today, I just went to work with my mom so I dressed casually but tried not to be underdressed. I bought these plaid bermuda shorts from Aeropostale last summer but I had gained some weight and was unable to fit into them. I have since lost some weight and was finally able to rip off the tags today!! I wore them with my new Ed Hardy sneakers (which were a birthday gift from my friends H and T!!), a gray tshirt, a teal tanktop and once again my name bracelet and nickname necklace. Casual, but trendy!

What did you guys wear today? I would love to see!

I’m Back!

So you may not believe this but I SWEAR I POSTED LAST WEEK!! I have no idea why it didn't post, but i wrote a post on Sunday.?

Anyway hear is a recap of what I said on Sunday:?

I WENT TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!! IT WAS AMAZING!! I even got to see the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It was soo cool. The rides were super fun and I got stuck on the Hogwarts ride but I didn't mind at all! I was there for a week with my friend Bebe. It was really hot and we got really tired, but it was worth it.?

Also, Monday was my birthday! It was great. The day was spent watching Friday Night Lights and ?I got to spend dinner with my close friends then came home to have cake with my family. All in all, I really enjoyed it.?

My friend came into cheap John Mayer tickets yesterday so we went to the concert yesterday and it was interesting. The first 75% of the show has almost no singing and then the last 25% was really good and had all the favorites. ?I will post some new pictures as soon as I can (including today's outfit, more Disney World and Harry Potter).?

I love you all!

Thanks again!

I haven’t forgotten about you!

Sorry I promise I haven’t forgotten about you, I just haven’t had a minute to post. Here is something that can hopefully tide you over for a little bit (even though it will throw off my timeline later).

?

Monday:?

I wore this great patterned turtleneck tee from Express that has a cutout in the front. It’s really funky and not my style, but I thought I would buy it and actually enjoy it. My jeans are from Delia’s?and my flats are Charlotte Russe. The flats are actually very comfortable considering Charlotte Russe heels are not! I wore my black pearl necklace and my matching bracelet that my dad bought me from a trip. I think it looked pretty good!

Tuesday:?

I had a really cool hippie outfit on but I didn’t take any pictures because I won tickets to the Chicago Fire game and went to that instead of blogging (sorry). It was great. I never turn down an opportunity to see Brian McBride – he’s one of my favorite players to EVER play for the U.S. They Fire was playing Pumas and they won 1-0 with a goal from Conde. To be honest, it wasn’t that great of a game until Brian McBride came in in the last 20 minutes. Did he really do anything? No, but I like my players and it makes it more entertaining to see them. I will never forget the 2006 World Cup match against Italy where he got a bloody nose, changed his jersey and came back to keep playing. I think thats enough about soccer for one post though.?

?

Wednesday:?

Today I wore a plum Express turtleneck (surprise), New York and Company Capris and white RocketDog flats. ?I wore a blue Old Navy tanktop underneath and it makes the back of the shirt look really cool don’t you think? I am also wearing a Juicy Couture friendship necklace my friend Y got me for my birthday last year ( I heart her).?
